JUI-F is all set to win second phase of KP LGE: Fazlur Rehman
DERA ISMAIL KHAN (Dunya News) – Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam – Fazl (JUI-F) Chief Fazlur Rehman said that his party won the first phase of Local Government Elections (LGE) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and is all set to win the second.
Addressing the ceremony in Dera Ismail Khan, he said the ruling party of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf (PTI) will be clean sweeped soon and we will send them out of the country. The PDM chief said that if public wants to see the country being destroyed then it should give vote to the PTI, otherwise they should give vote to JUI-F which has won the first stage of LBE.
He further added that we will abolish the incompetent government and added that PM did not meet the Chinese counterpart in-person even after staying in China and talked to them through a video link.
PDM will never support presidential system: Fazlur Rehman
Earlier today, Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) Chief Fazlur Rehman said that his party will never support the presidential system.
Addressing a gathering in Mianwali, the PDM Chief said that Shehbaz Sharif is the Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly and he can meet with other parties under this authority.
The PDM Chief said that the foundation of change has been laid after the success of KP elections. He added that, JUI-F does not recognize the illegitimate government of Pakistan Tehree-e-Insaaf (PTI), we will get rid of the PTI government.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that PDM will never settle down on presidential system. CPEC is a great project, but is not functioning from three years. Our Majlis-e-Shura will decide on the strategy for local body elections in Punjab, he said.
