ECP issues notice to Ali Amin Gandapur for violating code of conduct
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) issued notice to Federal Minister Ali Amin Gandapur on frequent violation of code of conduct in the elections that took place in Dera Ismail Khan.
A meeting of the Election Commission was held under the chairmanship of Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja.
Apart from members of Election Commission, the Secretary Election Commission and other senior officers participated in it.
During the meeting, it was told that Ali Amin s brother Umar Amin is the candidate of Gandapur Tehsil City Dera Ismail Khan.
The Election Commission also summoned Ali Amin Gandapur s brother Umar Amin Gandapur.
Election Commission has sought report from Deputy Commissioner Dera Ismail Khan and sent notices to Ali Amin and Umar Amin of hearing on February 1.
