ANP also decides to protest against local government law

KARACHI (Dunya News) - Awami National Party (ANP) has also decided to follow the same perspective of leading the mass rallies against the local body law in Sindh.

According to details, the major parties of Sindh including Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), MQM and PTI have started a series of protests against the local body law in Sindh. The MQM staged a protest in front of the Chief Minister s House which resulted in the police’s baton-charging and killing one MQM worker.

On the other hand, the difficulties of the PPP government in Sindh have increased. The ANP has decided to intensify the protest politics and public relations campaign in Karachi.

The ANP has decided to protest against the Sindh Local Government Amendment Act. Despite the efforts of PPP leaders, the Awami National Party (ANP) has refused to support the Sindh Local Government Act.

ANP leaders will join the ongoing sit-in of Jamaat-e-Islami against local government law today.
