Islamabad to receive rain spell in coming 24-hours: PMD

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Thursday predicted that Islamabad will receive rain spell in coming 24-hours.

According to the details shared by PMD, areas including Potohar and Kashmir will receive heavy rain while in the mountainous areas snow fall will occur. The weather will remain dry and cold all across the country while Northern Balochistan and upper Punjab will receive severe cold.

PMD predicted, around different areas of Kashmir strong winds along with heavy rain might fall. In the lower areas of Punjab, dense fog might dwell across province at night. Cities including Narowal, Sialkot and surrounding localities might receive heavy rain at night.

As per details shared by PMD, the weather will remain cold and dry across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) while in Peshawar, Mardan, Charsadda, Swabi and Naushera dense fog will engulf cities . At night, cities including Sukkur, Jacobabad and Larkana will experience intense fog whereas in various cities across Gilgit Baltistan rain will occur.
