IHC reserves verdict on pleas against convictions in Imran Farooq murder case

Prosecution prayed the court to reject the pleas of the accused.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Islamabad High Court (IHC) has reserved verdict on appeals of the accused against convictions in Imran Farooq murder case.

The bench reserved the verdict after both sides concluded their arguments. Deputy Attorney General presented his written reply with graphs and prayed the court to reject the pleas of the accused as there is concrete evidence against them.

Lawyers of the accused also presented their closing arguments. The high court after hearing arguments reserved the verdict.

It merits mention that anti-terrorism court had sentenced and fined the suspects for allegedly murdering Dr. Imran Farooq in London.
