During FIA Investigation, Aurangzeb Butt confessed to transferring the Rs 5mn to Shehbaz Sharif
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Dunya News on Thursday brought to light Aurangzeb Butt, who transferred Rs 5 million in the benami accounts of PML-N President and Leader of Opposition in the National Assembly Shahbaz Sharif.
Aurangzeb Butt was the one who transferred the amount to Shahbaz Shahrif’s benami account.
According to the challan, Butt transferred the amount of Rs 5 million to Shehbaz Sharif and during FIA s Investigation, Aurangzeb Butt confessed to transferring the Rs 5 million to Shehbaz Sharif.
The challan also stated that then Punjab CM Shehbaz Sharif himself issued notification for the appointment of Aurangzeb Butt as Beautification Chaimran of Gujrat, while the notification has signature of Chief Minister’s PSO Attar Tarrar.
Aurangzeb Butt said, “I do not remember how much money I transferred to the PML-N president, adding that Shehbaz Sharif didn’t distribute posts in exchange of money."
