Govt to make no mistake while negotiating with TTP: Bilawal Bhutto

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Monday said that the government must make no mistake while negotiating with the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).

He went on to say that government must discuss the issue in parliament and should not take side of extremist and banned organizations. He warned that the country does not want to face the same circumstances as those of Afghanistan. No amendment in the constitution of the country should be made, he added. He said that the government must not forgive the terrorists.

While talking to media, he said that the public of Pakistan must give PPP a chance. PPP will prove the metal of its worth in local bodies elections. Positive criticism is the right of public but lie should not be propagated. He said that PTI wants to implement the administration system of its own. He mentioned that in local body elections, PPP will outperform all PTI and MQM.

Furthermore, he said that Asif Zardari was the most powerful president of Pakistani history who transferred his powers to the parliament. The opposition parties will soon be embarrassed over success of Sindh Local Government Amendment Bill 2021.

He said that PPP has been working for people of Lahore since 1970. It provided houses to the poor while the current government is snatching the houses. He challenged the Federal, KPK and Punjab government to establish one government hospital like NICOD. He further said that a lot of work is needed to be done yet.
