LAHORE (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan has been featured in the list of Most Admired People in 2021.

PM Imran Khan has made a comeback in the list after 2019. He was last featured in the same list by YouGov survey in 2019 and 2018.

Former US President Barack Obama has been named one of the most admired personalities in the world in this year s list of Internet-based firm "YouGov", a global market research and data analysis firm.

For the third year in a row, Michelle Obama has maintained her position as the most admired woman in the world. The top three positions for each gender have not changed since last year.

The former US president took the position last year from longtime business tycoon and philanthropist Bill Gates, while Bill Gates is second on the list of men, followed by Chinese Prime Minister Lee. Actress Angelina Jolie is the second most admired woman in the world, followed by Britain s Queen Elizabeth II.

This year s survey polled more than 42,000 people from 38 countries and territories to compile the list. Pakistani human rights activist Malala Yousafzai and Indian actress Priyanka Chopra have topped the rankings this year, ranking 9th and 10th respectively.

Among men, Argentine footballer Lionel Messi is ranked 7th, while Cristiano Ronaldo is ranked fourth. The list of women has the highest number of actresses. Actresses, singers and TV hosts like Emma Watson and Angelina Jolie have got 10 positions in the survey.

The list of men is dominated by personalities from the fields of politics, business and sports. Newcomers to the top 20 this year include US President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, Thai rapper Lisa and New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern.
