Sarfraz murder case: Application moved for special bench

Justice Azhar Saeed has forwarded the request to SHC regarding formation of special bench.

The hearing of Sarfraz Shah murder case started in the 2-member division bench comprising Justice Athar Saeed and Justice Muhammad Ali.The Prosecutor General Sindh, Shahadat Awan argued that Justice Azhar Saeed could not hear the case as he was administrative judge of the Sindh High Court. Justice Azhar agreed with the prosecute general and said that a special bench should be formed to hear the case.
