PDM demands holding interference-free elections in the country: Mian Iftikhar
He said the PDM will continue its struggle to remove the selected PM and save the country.
NAUSHEHRA (Dunya News) – Awami National Party (ANP) senior leader Mian Iftikhar Hussain has said that the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) demands that fresh, transparent and interference-free elections be held again in the country.
Talking to media in Naushehra on Sunday, he said that the government was trying unsuccessfully to hide behind Coronavirus. Seeing the sea of people in the PDM meetings, the government has made a mistake. The PDM will continue its struggle to remove the selected prime minister and save the country.
"We understand that coronavirus is an epidemic, but the political and civilized people are not ready to pay heed to the pandemic for a moment," he said.
Mian Iftikhar went on to say that the public rallies of joint opposition has puzzled the government, adding that the hurdles were created and organizers of Gujranwala, Quetta and Peshawar rallies were arrested, but the whole world saw that the people who were fed up with the fake government participated in the rallies.
The ANP leader said that the PDM had called for a nationwide protest against the government s attitude at the Multan rally and today, people across the country protested against the unconstitutional and illegal behavior of the elected rulers.
