Modis Fascist ideology and Implementation of draconian laws in Kashmir under scrutiny
Tehreek-e-Kashmir UK on Friday took strong note against Modis fascist ideology in IOJ&K.
LONDON (Web Desk) - In a bid to take strong note against Modi’s fascist ideology and implementation of draconian laws in Kashmir an international video conference was organized by Tehreek-e-Kashmir UK on Friday.
The participants included Mejbel Al Shrika, Lawyer and Director of the Centre for Human Rights & International Humanitarian Law at the Kuwait Bar Association, Phil Bennion Former Member of the European parliament, President Jammu Kashmir Salvation Movement Altaf Ahmed Bhat, Clair Bidwell, Dr Farhan Mujahid Chak, Soraya Boyd, Jonathan Silberman, Sheni Hamid, President TeK Raja Fahim Kayani, while Parwaz Hussain Moderated the conference.
President Tek Uk Raja Fahim Kayani during his opening remarks thanked and appreciated all the participants for their participation.
President TeK Kayani added that Washington Post reported it as well that India under the fascist Modi is using the COVID-19 pandemic to intensify its crackdown in Kashmir. In the disguise of COVID-19 Indian occupational forces have started target killing of youngster in IOK, which is a grave human rights violation, and Indian tactic to stop Kashmiri brave youth from the demand of right to self determination.
President TeK Raja Fahim Kayani further said that Tehreek-e-Kashmir will expose Indian fascist policy and warmongering intention in every nook and corner of the world, and also reach out to Keir Starmer MP to inform him about the grave human rights violations and suppression of besieged Kashmiris for last 72 years.
While addressing the conference Mejbel Al Shrika, lawyer and director of the Centre for Human Rights & International Humanitarian Law at the Kuwait Bar Association, said that in this digital world with the presence of social media and internet, the world has now come to know about the atrocities, persecution and suppression of Muslims in Kashmir and India. It is very heart wrenching how Muslims are being religiously profiled during this COVID-19 Pandemic.
Mejbel Al Shrika said that I want to tell RSS that we are watching you and we strongly condemn all the barbaric measure, draconian laws, and suppression of Voice by the Indian Fascist government.
Former Member of the European Parliament Phil Bennion while addressing the conference said that, during my last speech at EU I mentioned what Modi govt was up to in Kashmir, and I also mentioned that Modi Govt is going towards fascism.
After August 5, 2019 Kashmiris were thrust into a digital black hole by cutting off the communication, without the Internet, people could not get connected, which destroyed Businesses in the occupied region, he added.
"Kashmir has right to self determination, which is given as per the resolutions of the United Nations. He asserted that Kashmir is not a bilateral issue between India and Pakistan, but its bilateral issue between Kashmiri people and India."
India is doing things such as CAA which go beyond the international norms, while Indian lobby is very strong and organized they reach out to everyone and everywhere with their message.
"Sanctions against India are possible as Russia faced in case of Crimea," he added.
President Jammu Kashmir Salvation Movement Altaf Ahmed Bhat extended his gratitude to all the participants for taking out time and showing concern for the besieged people of Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
Bhat said that there was an indigenous intifada after 2008, and all the tactics being used by fascist Modi and his companions is to divert the attention of world community which we gained after 2008.
More than 850 LoC ceasefire violations by Indian Army in this year is also a tactic to divert the attention of the world community.
President JKSM Bhat further added that Indian fascist Hindutva Government wants to curb and crush the Kashmiri Muslims through crackdowns, military operations, fake encounters, imposing communication lockdown, making economic breakdown, Molestation of women, snatching future of our new generation.
"To stop Dissent and Criticism India is intimidating, harassing, and arresting numerous Journalists, Activists and students through the use of repressive laws such as UAPA, PSA." Bhat added.
Bhat asserted that if Modi is not stopped now, he will turn Kashmir into a Hindu Majority within few years. IOJK will be the dangerous battlefield between RSS goons and Kashmiri original state subjects, and it will lead to a nuclear war in South Asia.
Dr Farhan Mujahid Chak, Secretary-General Kashmir Civitas said that Kashmir is an international conflict recognized by UN. While during the month of Ramadan and amidst coronavirus outbreak Kashmiris are trying to save themselves. Indian brutal forces killed 33 people in just one month.
India has proved to be a desperate fascist state with forcing total extremism in Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
Dr Chak added that the world needs to recognize the severity of Kashmir issue, where even the Journalists are being harassed, tortured, killed and booked under lawless laws.
Soraya Boyd, human rights campaigner and Educational consultant said that India has become an undemocratic regime and much more like KKK.
After August 5, 2019, when India repealed Article 370 and 35A, the people of Kashmir are under twin lockdown, people lost jobs, businesses, acute shortage of food, and medical supplies. And now COVID-19 outbreak has hit hard the region, still, the oppression of Indian government continues in these situations.
While Article 19 of the Indian Constitution provide freedom of speech and expression, the Journalists in India and Kashmir are being harassed and booked under illegal laws. Recently top journalists Massarat Zahra, Peerzada Ashiq, Gowhar Geelani of renowned media outlets are summoned to police stations, FIRs are filed, and are charged with lawless law i.e. Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA).
Clair Bidwell, Co-Founder of Let Kashmir Decide, said that Kashmiris are living under misery and the double lockdown with one million armies enforced upon them, it is high time UN and international community must take serious note of violations of international law, UN resolutions, and pressurize India to resolve Kashmir dispute as per the aspirations of Kashmiris and UN resolutions.
Sheni Hamid demand arrest warrant of Modi, and Army General B.P Rawat for committing war crimes and grave human rights violations in Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
Parwaz Hussain, moderator of the conference, also spoke on the occasion and said that Kashmiri people have sacrificed enough, and the peak of barbarism and atrocities by Indian occupational forces. It is high time World must wake up and raise the voice for besieged Kashmiri people by initiating practical steps.
