Our decision to boycott the NSC meeting was right, says PTI leader
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Secretary General Salman Akram Raja urged the government to convene the joint session of Parliament amid rising incidents of terrorism in the country.
He expressed these views while talking in Dunya News’ program ‘Baat Niklay Gi’.
The PTI leader said that the government had summoned the session of National Security Committee in hurry and the party didn’t have ample time to consult the leadership.
“Our decision to boycott the NSC meeting was absolutely right,” the PTI leader said.
He added that the grand opposition alliance would be formed against the incumbent government soon.

According to Raja, the PTI founder is very well aware of country’s current situation while sitting in the jail.
He credited JUI-F’s Maulana Fazlur Rehman for playing his role in removing controversial clauses from the 26th Amendment.
He stated that the politics of Dera Ismail Khan would not dominate the national politics.
Raja insisted that an APC should be called and all political parties must be invited.
