Thick fog continues to envelop parts of Punjab

LAHORE (Dunya News) – The dense fog on Sunday has continued to blanket different areas of Punjab, reducing the visibility to zero on highways and motorways.

The thick fog has badly affected the transportation system (road, rail and flight) in several cities of Punjab.

The Motorway police have appealed the drivers to use GT Road for travelling. They have also urged the drivers to drive slowly and switch on fog lights.

The people have been requested to stay home and avoid unnecessary travelling.

On the other hand, mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, while very cold in northern parts and north Balochistan.

However, rain/snowfall is expected in Kashmir and its adjoining hilly area. Fog is likely to prevail in plain areas of Punjab and upper Sindh during morning/night hours.
