President Asif Ali Zardaris father Hakim Ali Zardari died in Islamabad on Tuesday.

Hakim Zardari had been suffering from liver and kidney problems, but died of multi-organ failure. His funeral prayer will be offered in Nawabshah at 6pm.Nawabshah has been declared red zone while senior officials were monitoring the security arrangements. The senior Zardari’s dead body would be shifted to Nawabshah by helicopter.The senior Zardari was elected to the National Assembly thrice and was appointed federal minister on two occasions. He was also appointed as the public accounts committee chairman in 1988. He was born in 1930 in Nawabshah.Meanwhile, Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani, Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah and Governor Ishratul Ibad have expressed condolence over the death.
