No dialogue with PM Imran on Army Act: Shehbaz

Shehbaz said innocence of his brother and other PML-N leaders were gradually appearing before public

LONDON (Dunya news) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president and in leader of opposition in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday said that they have nothing to do with the government and no dialogues would be held with Prime Minister Imran Khan on Army Act.

He stated this while addressing a press conference in London on Wednesday. Shehbaz Sharif said that despite Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government s statements against PML-N leadership for the past one and a half year, the Supreme Court on Tuesday rejected National Accountability Bureau s (NAB) petition seeking cancellation of his bail in Ashiana Housing case.

The PML-N president went on to say that he worked hard under the leadership of former prime minister and party supremo Nawaz Sharif for the development of the country and claimed that innocence of his brother and other leaders of the PML-N were gradually appearing before the public.

Shehbaz further said that he has always said that an alliance between PM Imran and anti-graft watchdog exists, however, their alliance failed yet again.

"My assets were frozen due to an alliance between Prime Minister Imran Khan and the NAB," he added.

Lashing out at PM Imran Khan, he said, "I have never seen such big liar as PM Niazi is in the history of Pakistan." The opposition leader also labelled the prime minister as master of U-turns .

Regarding PM Imran Khan s promise of 5 million houses and jobs, Shehbaz Sharif said that not even a single home was built during his one and a half year of the PTI government.
