Khawaja Saad Rafique suffers heart attack, undergoes angioplasty at PIC

PML-N leader Khawaja Saad Rafique suffered a heart attack, received a stent via angioplasty at PIC, and has been discharged in stable condition.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Former federal minister and senior PML-N leader Khawaja Saad Rafique has been shifted to the Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) after suffering a heart attack.
Sources said he underwent an angioplasty, during which a stent was inserted, and his condition has now improved.
PIC doctors confirmed that one stent was placed and Mr. Rafique’s health has significantly stabilized.
The PML-N leader himself stated that his heart rate had increased suddenly. “I stayed at PIC for two days, underwent angioplasty last night, and have now been discharged from the hospital,” he added.
