Rawalpindi doctors demand protection

The young doctors threaten to go on strike if the government failed to protect them in hospitals.

Addressing a press conference, Patron-in-Chief of the Young Doctors Association, Dr Haroon, said that the doctors were facing insecurity due to inadequate security arrangements in hospitals.He alleged that DSP Taimur Khan was involved in instigating the family of a female patient who had died in Holy Family Hospital. He demanded the government suspend the DSP and the people who resorted to violence should be arrested.
