PPP has used women as shield during party chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardaris appearance before NAB

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Firdous Ashiq Awan on Wednesday said that efforts were underway to bring those involved in an attack on the armed forces in the parliament.

Addressing a ceremony in Islamabad on Wednesday, she said that the Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) has used women as shield during party chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s appearance before the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) team.

Reacting strongly to Bilawal’s statement, Firdous said that efforts were underway to bring those involved in an attack on the armed forces in the parliament.

She said: “By demanding to summon those who attacked the country’s armed in the parliament, the PPP chairman was withdrawing from his mother and former prime minister Benazir Bhutto’s vision.”

The special assistant went on to say that some political parties wanted to use party workers as fire, adding that they call party workers whenever NAB summons them as if they were going to conquer a fortress.
