Pakistan, China sign ML-1 railway project.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan and China signed Mail Line-One (ML-1) railway project under which a double track from Peshawar to Karachi will be built, Dunya News reported on Sunday.

Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan and his Chinese counterpart Li Keqiang signed the contract in Beijing. Both countries agreed to cooperate with each other in different sectors.

Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid Ahmed termed the day as historic and told that he had signed the feasibility report of this project thirteen years ago. The minimum speed of the train will be 160 km/h, he said.
