Karachi: Zulfiqar Mirza to resume office, says Malik

Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik said that Zulfiqar Mirza will continue to work as minister.

Talking to media at Karachi Airport, the Federal Interior Minister said that every murder in Karachi was not a target killing incident.He said that an action against extortionists was underway after a well planned strategy.Malik further informed that the mobile companies were being directed to maintain the record of EMI numbers of mobile phones, otherwise, cases would be registered against the chief executives of the mobile phone companies.The Interior Minister said that the reservations of ANP and other coalition parties on the issue of house count were being addressed.If need be, the census could be conducted under the supervision of the army, Malik concluded.
