Suspension of Nawaz, Maryam and Safdar Sentences in Avenfield: PMLN leadership is hopeful
Political leadership reacted to the decision of the suspension of sentences of Sharifs.
(WebDesk) – After Islamabad High Court suspended sentences of ex-prime minister Nawaz Sharif, his daughter Maryam Nawaz and son-in-law Captain (r) Safdar in Avenfield reference, a stir in the political discourse and energy of motivation and competition is being observed in the political horizon of Pakistan.

A number of politicians especially leaders of opposition party PMLN - on Television and on social media – expressed a little relieve and are hopeful that soon the alleged controversies brewed against them would be unveiled one after another.

She was seen in tears after the decision of the suspension of the sentences of Sharifs were announced.
PMLN senior leader Ahsan Iqbal in his media talk said, "I thank God that Nawaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz and Capt (retd) Safdar have succeeded today. This trial holds a lot of importance as even a blind person would see that these cases had no legal or constitutional standing. These cases were political and meant for pre-poll rigging and meant to sideline Nawaz Sharif from the election race so that Imran Khan can get a fake victory."
Hamza Shahbaz in a media talk said the latest relieve to the Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz is their victory against the scheming of the opponents and will continue their struggle to unmask the real culprits. There will be no deal, critics even created the unnecessary fuss around the severe ailment of their Supremo’s leader Nawaz Sharif, he added.

PMLN workers were all in an excitement and frenzy of such a relief and contentment after a long time.
However, The legal expert Saad Rassol has a say that the relief restricts to the suspension of the sentences only; it is not an acquittal.

Most of the supreme leadership of the government led party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is not in home. Prime Minister Imran Khan along with Finance Minister Asad Umar, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi and other top brass has left Pakistan for a two days official trip to Saudi Arabia on Tuesday.
Reacting to the decision of IHC to suspend the sentences of Sharifs in Avenfield, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry said that Pakistan’s courts are independent and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) respects today s verdict of Islamabad High Court . The minister said that the government and masses want action against the elements involved in corruption, adding that the nation wants its looted wealth to be brought back to the country.
