In Pictures: First spell of monsoon rains
Heavy spell of rain with gusty winds is being predicted for the coming week.
(WebDesk) - The downpour in Karachi, Lahore, Faislabad, Islamabad and other regions turns the weather pleasant. Heavy showers with thunderstorm brought the temperature to normal range after a long spell of heat in different parts of the country especially in the southern region.
People in great joy took to the roads and streets to enjoy as the dark clouds are started hovering above their cities. Heavy rainfall doubled the delights. People in large numbers headed towards the foods stalls, roadside vendors and restaurants for traditional savories, snacks and munchings of torrential rain season.
As the monsoon approaches, heavy spell of rain with gusty winds is being predicted for the coming week. Emergency has already been declared in Karachi whereas intermittent rainfall took eight lives as the wall of a dilapidated mosque collapses in Lahore.
