PM expected to reach Quetta amid demands of Zehri's resignation
The opposition parties have refused to meet the premier.
QUETTA (Dunya News) – Prime Minister (PM) Shahid Khaqan Abbasi is on Monday expected to reach Quetta to rescue Balochistan Chief Minister (CM) Sanaullah Zehri’s government.
It has been learnt that the opposition parties have refused to meet the premier, and also asked Zehri to resign. Furthermore, the dissenters have advised Shahid Khaqan Abbasi not to come to Balochistan.

Zmarak Khan Achakzai maintained that a new alliance has been established, and asked why the government not contacted them for four and a half years.
Balochistan Home Minister Sarfaraz Bugti has claimed that the number of dissenting MPAs of Balochistan has gone 41 against CM Sanaullah Zehri.

Earlier, a group of ministers addressed a press conference in the provincial capital and claimed that number of ministers who have reservations over CM Zehri leading the provincial government would rise.
Former advisor to Balochistan chief minister (CM) Prince Ahmed Ali said that decision of the dissenting ministers would not change with Prime Minister (PM) Shahid Khaqan Abbasi’s possible visit to Balochistan to resolve the political crisis.
Representatives of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) and Awami National Party (ANP) said that no-confidence motion is a democratic process and every MPA is entitled to bring about an in-house change.
He recalled that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) had distributed sweets and made merry after dissolving government led by former chief minister Aslam Raisani.

PML-N has branded a no-confidence motion an undemocratic act now, they complained.
However, Balochistan CM Sanaullah Zehri responded to the statements and said that claims of those standing up against the government have fallen weak as they failed to bring together 20 ministers at a dinner gathering on Sunday.
On the other hand, three federal ministers are staying in Quetta to meet enraged political leaders.
