Karachi: Families of Pakistani hostages in Somalia protest

The family members of the 4 Pakistanis, held hostages for last 8 months by the Somali pirates, protested and said that the pirates gave the deadline for ransom money of $ 2.2 million but the government was taking no steps in this regard, reported Dunya News.

The family members of the hostages protesting outside the Karachi Press Club said that the pirates were also torturing the hostages and depriving them of food.Protesting against the non serious attitude of the government regarding the issue, they said that the lives of their dear ones were in danger. The appealed the government to take immediate steps for the release of hostages.
