FO summons Indian deputy HC over LoC ceasefire violation
Foreign Office expressed its concern over the ceasefire violations and Indian aggression across LoC.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Pakistan lodged severe protest over the over the Indian forces unprovoked firing at Chirikot Sector along the Line of Control (LoC) on December 7 as Foreign Office (FO) on Friday summoned Indian deputy high commissioner KP Singh in Islamabad, reported Dunya News.
Protesting the ceasefire violations, Director General South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (Saarc) Dr Mohammad Faisal handed over a communique to India’s envoy.
India’s firing at Chirikot Sector along the LoC on Thursday had martyred two civilians and injured a woman in Chaffar village.
Foreign Office expressed its concern over the ceasefire violations and Indian aggression across LoC. It is pertinent to mention here that Indian forces committed more than 1,300 ceasefire violations during the current year.
