Karachi: Suspect involved in target killings arrested

The police have arrested accused Sajid Ali who was involved in the political and religious target killings.

After the Aziz Bhatti police station received a tip about the whereabouts of Sajid Ali, the police successfully arrested the accused from near Hasan Square in Karachi and recovered a stolen motorcycle and two mobile phones.According to sources, the accused is associated with a banned organization. SP Gulshan Iqbal, Naeem Sheikh, said that the accused has admitted his involvement in the killing of Shia leader Nayyer Abbas Zaidi, North Nazimabad Babul Ilim administrator Yawar Abbas and other political and religious personalities.The police said that more important information will be disclosed during the interrogation of the accused.
