PTI leaders said they will take legal action against Iqama-holder ministers

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has announced a major step to force Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to resign from his position in the light of reserved Panama case verdict.

PTI leaders said that they will place protest camps across different cities of the country from tomorrow. They aim to compel PM Nawaz to resign before the Supreme Court gives its final verdict. The opposition party reaffirmed that the PM is not honest and truthful, the basic requirement to lead the country according to Article 62 and 63.

While talking to media, PTI leader from Sialkot Usman Dar declared to take legal action against the Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) ministers with Iqama. They will also submit ineligibility references in Election Commission of Pakistan against Defence Minister Khawaja Asif and Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal.

“Khawaja Asif takes 50,000 dirhams from his Abu Dhabi employer,” he said. Fawad Chaudhry claimed more names will be revealed in the near future. It should be noted that Iqama of four ministers have been revealed yet, including PM Nawaz Sharif, Khawaja Asif, Ahsan Iqbal and Finance Minister Ishaq Dar.
