Opposition demands explanation off Nisar over Dawn Leaks probe issue
The opposition boycotted proceedings of the session and demonstrated a walk-out
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Leader of the Opposition in Senate, Aitzaz Ahsan has demanded off Minister for the Interior, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Friday to offer the House an explanation over Dawn Leaks probe matter.
While addressing the Senate, he said that no official is above the sanctity of the Senate and Dawn Leaks is an issue concerning the nation which is why Nisar is needed to offer an explanation on behalf of the government.

He should inform the senators about the developments in the matter.
However, after his speech, the opposition boycotted proceedings of the session and demonstrated a walk-out.
Separately, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan inquired on health of Abdul Ghafoor Haideri, Deputy Chairman of the Senate, after a terror blast targeted his convoy in Mastung. Chairman of the Senate, Raza Rabbani also telephoned entourage of the senator and inquired on his health.
