RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa strongly condemned the terrorist attack at Mazar-e-Sharif, Afghanistan. Earlier, Islamabad also expressed grief over Taliban-backed terrorist attack on Afghan military base,
He expressed sorrow on loss of numerous innocent lives. COAS Bajwa extended his full support and solidarity with Afghan security forces and brotherly resilient Afghan Nation.

According to reports, at least 100 Afghan soldiers were killed and wounded in a coordinated Taliban attack on an army base in northern Afghanistan.
Two attackers belonging from the banned terror group blew themselves up and seven were killed in the assault near Mazar-i-Sharif city during yesterday. The attack lasted till several hours and targeted soldiers at a mosque and dining facility.
"They were young recruits who had come for training," a government official told.
