KARACHI (Daily Dunya) - Disagreements among probe committee’s members is delaying emergence of Dawn Leaks report, said senior analyst and anchorperson Kamran Khan.
Interior Ministry had filed a report within 14 days of the incident however, the committee, that was formed by the Government of Pakistan has not come up with their version until today.
Federal government has constituted seven-member committee to probe the matter whereas military leadership, at certain occasions, has expressed stern exasperation over continuous delay.
The federal government does not look in hurry as it has shifted focus on Panama Leaks case whose verdict is due in coming week, said Kamran Khan.
Salman Ghani, Editor Political Affairs of Dunya News, predicted more delay in Dawn Leaks report while stressing on emergence of report at earliest.
Speaking during ‘Dunya Kamran Khan Kay Sath’ show, Salman Ghani expressed astonishment that main character Cyril Almeida had not been presented before probe committee in this regard. He said report could be brought to surface by American media and they would expose the ’traitor’.
Commenting on political situation, Ghani said Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif seems energetic and he has shifted his focus on those areas which are generally not considered as stronghold of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N).
PM has allocated massive financial aid for Sindh and Balochistan recently aimed at gaining strong position before 2018 polls, added Ghani.
