PM Nawaz expresses satisfaction over Pakistan's security situation

Army Chief General Raheel Sharif held a meeting with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif called on Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif at PM House today (Friday).

Matters pertaining to internal and regional security were discussed during the meeting.

Vowing to continue the war against militancy and terrorism, the Prime Minister expressed his satisfaction over security situation of the country.

He also vowed to take war on terrorism to its logical conclusion. 

The meeting comes a day after a news was aired regarding postponement of a meeting to review National Action Plan (NAP) due to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif‘s visit to the United States. 

The Prime Minister will leave for the United States on Saturday to attend United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) session where he is expected to highlight Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir and Indian intelligence agency Research and Analysis Wing‘s (RAW) interference in Pakistan.
