JI has announced to start protest movement against provincial government and the Act

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), have completely disagreed on Malakand Custom Act on Tuesday while JI has announced to start protest movement against provincial government and the Act, reported Dunya News.

Coalition parties of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), PTI and JI have shown disagreement on the implementation of Malakand Custom Act. JI Ameer KP Mushtaq Ahmad Khan along with other party ministers addressed a press conference and announced to start protest movement against the Act. First protest will be held on April 11 in Malakand.

On the other hand, Advisor to Chief Minister (CM) KP Mushtaq Ghani said that implementation of Custom Act in Malakand is not the decision of provincial government. He also said that PTI will listen to JI but JI has to do the same. People and other political parties have also rejected the Act.
