Punjab and Sindh are afraid of accountability, not KP: Khattak

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Pervaiz Khattak showed satisfaction with regard to KP police and said that he has called in Rangers for accountability rather than security, reported Dunya News.

Addressing a ceremony of passing out parade of Elite Force batch in Nowshera, KP CM said that he is satisfied with KP Police performance, and that tussle between bureaucracy and Police department is something normal but heads of both the departments can sit together to sort out issues.

He also said that he has written a letter to federal government to call rangers for accountability rather than security adding that Sindh and Punjab governments are afraid of accountability but Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) presents itself for accountability.

CM KP said that federation has not been returning Frontier Corps platoon that is why he has demanded Rangers  deployment.

On this occasion, passed out Elite personnel also demonstrated their practical training. Out of 588 Elite Force personnel, 35 are women.
