PM was told in the meeting that Modi's recent policy of friendship is only to fool Pakistan

RAWALPINDI: (Dunya News) – Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif has on Thursday been told that the Bacha Khan University (BKU) attack was actually carried out in order to divert the attention from the inner element’s involvement in Pathankot Airbase attack. PM was told that Indian PM Narendra Modi’s recent policy of friendship with Pakistan is only to fool Pakistan, reported Dunya News.

According to details, an important meeting was held today at Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) headquarters. PM and Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif were briefed in detail about the internal and external threats, terrorists’ networks and contacts.

They were told in the meeting that the BKU attack was carried out in order to divert the attention from Indian government’s incompetence and cowardice displayed in the Pathankot attack. The PM was told that the students at the BKU were murdered in cold blood just for this purpose.

During the briefing, PM and army chief were told that Indian intelligence agency ‘RAW’ has completely taken over one of the major political parties in the country. They were told that RAW has opened the gates of their national exchequer for religious terrorists and Baloch separatists.

The PM was shown the proofs of RAW and Afghan intelligence agency NDS involvement in Pakistan.

The meeting also discussed the weaknesses in the National Action Plan (NAP) and the need for the operation in Punjab.

PM and COAS appreciated the role of the ISI on this occasion. PM said that the enemies of Pakistan will be defeated in order to make Pakistan prosperous and secure. He added that the nation is behind the armed forces and intelligence agencies.

According to Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR) department, General Raheel Sharif ordered to continue the operation throughout the country upon the intelligence provided by the ISI and other intelligence agencies.
