Opposition Leader sold out to Nawaz Sharif, alleges Imran
PTI Chairman said Nawaz Sharif isn't a true leader since he reads his statement from a paper
ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has on Friday said that Opposition Leader in National Assembly Khurshid Shah was sold out to Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif. He also said that Nawaz Sharif isn’t a true leader as he reads his statements from page, reported Dunya News.
Talking to Moeed Pirzada on Dunya News’ program ‘Tonight with Moeed Pirzada’, Imran Khan said that Nawaz Sharif isn’t a true leader. He appreciated Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif’s decision to not seek extension, saying that General Raheel preferred strengthening the institutions. He added that this decision will further elevate Raheel Sharif’s standing in public eyes.
When asked why PTI doesn’t show much performance inside the house, Imran said that Opposition and the government have an underhand deal and there is no point in going to the assemblies.
Imran Khan wondered how Nawaz Sharif would have bought the opposition. He said that the PM wasn’t a true leader, but read from paper.
Discussing NA-122, Imran Khan made it clear that he will seek an answer about the transfer of 21,000 votes from the constituency. He insisted that Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq would never be able to get away with the matter.
Responding to a question about China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), Imran Khan opined that all provinces should be taken into confidence about the project.
PTI Chairman believed that trade must be opened between Pakistan and India in order to have peace in subcontinent.
Talking about terrorism, Imran Khan said that the terrorists are now attacking soft targets. He added that the groups of Taliban who want to talk must be taken into loop while operation should continue against the rest.
