Indian police arrest Aasiya Andrabi in Srinagar
The police took Aasiya Andrabi into custody during house raids in Soura area of Srinagar.
SRINAGAR (Web Desk) - Indian police arrested the Chairperson of Dukhtaran-e-Millat, Aasiya Andrabi, in Srinagar today (Friday) for waving Pakistani flag on August 14 and addressing a rally.
The police took Aasiya Andrabi into custody during house raids in Soura area of Srinagar. She has been detained in women police station in Rambagh.
Separately, Indian troops, in their fresh act of state terrorism, martyred two youth in Bandipore district today. The two were killed during violent siege and search operations at Kanzalwan in Gurez area of the district.
An official of Indian army claimed that the youth were militants and were killed in an encounter.
