KP's provincial budget to abstain from levying new tax

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Provincial Finance Minister Muzaffar Syed said on Thursday that the volume of budget can reach up to 472 arab rupees. He said that no additional taxes will be levied in new budget, reported Dunya News.
Talking to tje media regarding the current budget, Muzzafar Syed said that development budget is expected to be set at 124 arab rupee but can be increased if need be.
He said that schemes included in federal budget are also included in the development fund.
Provincial Finance Minister said that an increase of 19% funds has been suggested for health while 14% increase for police, 13% for judiciary, 18% for higher education and 51% increase has been suggested for social sector.
Outlining the employment plans for the province, Muzaffar Syed said that 2000 posts would be created in Health department and 10000 will be created in Education department.
He further added that more than 1 lac 59 thousand posts would be created via private and public category companies.
