Police arrest Kaleem, Saima for torturing 10-year old maid
Suspects tortured their maid on a suspicion of stealing Rs 1,000.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Police officers detained house owner along with his wife for allegedly beating up their domestic servant today (Wednesday) in the area of Muslim Town in Lahore.
As per details, Kaleem and Saima were arrested by police for torturing their 10 years old maid Ansar on a suspicion of stealing Rs 1,000. Ansar, who belongs to Okara, was taken to Lahore for just Rs 26,000 to do work at a house of landowner Kaleem.
Acting on the information received about the incident, Child Protection Bureau reached the scene and recovered the minor girl. The arrested suspects further claimed that the minor girl sustained injuries as she fell down.
Chairperson Punjab Child Protection Bureau Saba Sadiq stated that the girl will soon handed over to her parents.
