PM announces petrol price cut by Rs 9.66 per litre

HAVELIAN (Dunya News)— Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif addressing a public meeting at Havelian on Saturday said that the multi-dimensional projects being undertaken by PML-N government would make Pakistan an Asian tiger. He also announced the construction of 33 billion rupees Hazara Motorway.

Referring to the protesters and their claim of creating a New Pakistan, PM said that the government would make a new KPK and the construction of Motorway would bring prosperity in the province. Nawaz Sharif further announced cut off in the price of petrol by 9.66 rupees per litre. The new price of petrol would be rupees 84.66, PM said.

Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sardar Mehtab also addressed the public and said that Zarb-e-Azb operation in North Waziristan is a fight to eliminate terrorism from the country. He further remarked that Pakistan is facing a number of issues and the people of Pakistan should support the government in its efforts for change. The Hazara Motorway will be a major development in the region and would benefit the people of Hazara, Gilgit-Baltistan, Malakand and Azad Kashmir.

PM announced construction of schools in the earthquake affected areas of KPK and Azad Kashmir apart from the establishment of a quality University in Hazara.

Moreover, the Religious Affairs Minister Mohammad Yousaf claimed that the government was fulfilling the promises made prior to the elections as several development projects are being undertaken. He also said that the political parties protesting in Islamabad are causing trouble to the current government. He talked about the motorway projects which would soon be launched in Mansehra along with inauguration of a rail project.

Deputy Speaker of National Assembly Murtaza Javed Abbassi also affirmed that Nawaz Sharif has fulfilled his promises by launching the development projects. He said that the motorway would strengthen the economy of the country and would change the fate of the people of the region which has long been ignored by previous governments. He also demanded the provision of gas to the area.
