Election Commission rejects PTI's allegations

ECP rejected Imran's allegations regarding publishing of additional ballot papers for Election 2013
ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has rejected the allegations leveled by Pakistan Trhreek-i-Insaf (PTI) on Friday, Dunya News reported.
Rejecting Chairman PTI Imran Khan’s allegations regarding publishing of additional ballot papers, ECP told that a total of 173 million ballot papers were published for the General Election 2013. ECP informed that 86.1 million voters were registered for the election and only 8 million extra ballot papers had been published.
It is pertinent to mention here that 5.5 million extra ballot papers were published for the elections and 5 million additional ballot papers were given to Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) candidates.
