Indian forces again open unprovoked firing at Charwah Sector
Clashes occur regularly along the disputed border known as the Line of Control (LoC).
SIALKOT (Web Desk) - India forces have once again resorted to unprovoked firing and shelling at Charwah Sector, Dunya News reported on Wednesday.
Indian forces targeted Bajra Garhi, Charwah, Domala, Tulsipur, Gor, Baghiari and other villages.
Meanwhile, Chenab Rangers responded effectively to the Indian aggression.
Indian Border Security Forces (BSF) have opened fire and shelled Pakistani territory in recent days, leaving at least 12 civilians dead and forcing thousands to flee their homes.
The LoC is a de-facto border that divides Kashmir into India and Pakistan controlled parts. The armies and border guards of India and Pakistan intermittently trade fire, despite an agreement to observe a cease-fire.
New Delhi and Islamabad in 2003 agreed to observe cease-fire along the international border and the LoC in Kashmir. Though some violations have been reported on both sides, the cease-fire remains in effect.
