PTI decides not to resign from KP Assembly

PTI MNAs would however verify their resignations before the NA speaker together.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – In a meeting presided by Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) today, the leaders of the party have taken the principle decision of not resigning from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Assembly thereby keeping the KP government intact.

The Members of National Assembly (MNAs) however would not take their resignations back and would verify their resignations before Speaker National Assembly together.

On the other hand, Speaker Punjab Assembly Rana Muhammad Iqbal has summoned PTI Members of the Provincial Assembly (MPAs) on September 29 in his chamber where the verification of their resignations will take place.

In the first phase of verification four PTI MPAs viz Nabeela Haqim, Malik Taimoor, Waheed Akhter Dogar and Rashid Hafeez have been called.
