Elections were rigged nationwide including Sindh: Shah Mehmood Qureshi

He said PTI's sit-in protests are being replicated countrywide and abroad.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) vice chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi claimed on Thursday that ‘systematic and organized’ rigging took place during the general elections 2013, adding that Prime Minister’s resignation for a month is necessary for transparent investigation, Dunya News reported.
Addressing the media at the airport, Qureshi said that he has come to convey Imran Khan’s message to the people of Karachi. He said PTI’s sit-in protests are being replicated countrywide and abroad.
Qureshi said that Imran Khan raised voice against election rigging fourteen months ago and remain firmed on his point of view.
He said the nation has awakened now and that the beginning of new Pakistan has taken place.
Qureshi said that Prime Minister’s resignation, even for a month, is necessary for transparent investigation.
PTI leaders said that members of Sindh Assembly will also submit their resignations soon. He said that it is a strategy not to resign from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assembly because the provincial government comprises allies’ parties and not just of the PTI.
