Army Chief meets US Deputy Secretary of State

US Deputy Secretary of State said America recognizes Pakistan's sacrifices in the war against terror
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif met United States (US) Deputy Secretary of State William Burns on Friday to discuss matters involving national and regional security, Dunya News reported.
According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), US Deputy Secretary of State visited General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi and met Army Chief.
National and regional security overview and current situation among other matters came under discussion during the meeting.
According to sources, Afghanistan’s changing situation and security conditions on Pak-Afghan border was also discussed.
