Karachi violence continues, death toll rises to 25

Intense firing have been heard at areas surrounding Board Office Karachi. Death toll from firing rises to five in Nazmabad.Violence and tense situation in different parts of Orangi Town, is still prevailing after 72 hours have passed since the clashes began on Thursday night. Interior Minister Sindh has ordered for the imposition of clause 144. Carrying of weapons and display of arms has been banned.At least 25 people have been killed in the dispute so far. Five more people have been killed by firing in other areas of Karachi. According to Police, a man was killed today morning in firing at Orangi town Dahi Number. In a separate incident, a car was set on fire by unidentified men near Sector 1 Norrani Park and kidnapped a person from the area.According to Police since Thursday 14 people have been killed in Orangi station precinct while 4 people have been reported killed in the area of Momin Abad and Pakistan Bazar Station.Life has been disrupted due to the tense situation in the areas of Orangi Town 11L Sector, 12, 13, Tohaid Colony, Bukhari Colony, Nishan-e-Haider, Kati Pahari, Muslim-a-Abad and adjacent areas.
