Two policemen injured in DI Khan blast, bomb defused in RY Khan

The blast took place in Kulachi area of Dera Ismail Khan.

(Web Desk) – At least two policemen including a Station House Office (SHO) were injured when a police vehicle came under bomb attack in Pakistan s northwest district of Dera Ismail Khan on Tuesday afternoon.

The police van was targeted with a remote-controlled bomb in Kulachi area of DI Khan.

SHO Imran Kundi and another police official were injured in the incident, DPO said.

On the other hand, a bomb weighing 2.5kg was found between four gas pipelines in Rukanpur area of Rahim Yar Khan district.

Later, bomb disposal squad was called in to defuse the bomb.

DPO SOhail Zafar Chatha said that gas supply to Punjab would have been suspended as a result of the blast.

Also, Rs. 10,000 reward was announced for the person who spotted the bomb and alerted the police.
