Separate explosions injure fourteen including 7 children in Shabqadar

Police officers have cordoned off the entire area.

CHARSADDA (Dunya News) – At least 14 people including five women and seven children were injured in a chain of explosions in Charsadda today (Saturday).

Reportedly, as many as five hand grenade blasts targeting schools and houses took place in Tehsil Shabqadar and left 14 people wounded.



Sources privy to security told that the first blast was carried out outside a school in Zareef Kor whereas hand grenades were also hurled on houses in Mosul and Mir Kulli.



Rescue teams have arrived at the scene and are shifting the wounded to the hospital for medical assistance while police officers have also cordoned off the entire area. 

The security forces arrested as many as ten suspects in a search operation that was launched after the blasts.
