Three FC men among 7 killed in Chaman border blast

Following the incident, flow of traffic across the border has been suspended.
QUETTA (Dunya News) - At least seven people including three FC personnel were killed and over a dozen others wounded in an blast at Chaman border crossing in Balochistan on Wednesday.
According to officials, the blast took place near Bab-e-Dosti (Friendship Gate) inside Afghan custom house.
Pakistani forces closed border crossing soon after blast and all activities were suspended.
Town of Chaman borders Spin Boldak District in the southern Kandahar Province of Afghanistan and has seen several violent attacks over the past couple of years.
NATO supply also enters into Afghanistan’s Kandhar province through Chaman Bab-e-Dosti .
Thousands of Pakistanis have lost their lives in bombings and other militant attacks since 2001 when Pakistan entered an alliance with the US on the so-called war against terrorism.
