Rangers assigned task to control Karachi target killing

The Rangers have been assigned a special task to control target killing incidents in Karachi, Dunya News reported Friday.According to sources, during the special meeting of heads of law enforcement agencies chaired by Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik, the rangers were assigned the special task in wake of target killing incidents. Under the task, Rangers will investigate target killing incidents, identify the people involved and arrest the perpetrators. Karachi Police have also been informed about it while the rangers will report to the provincial and federal government, sources revealed.
