PPP, PML-Q mend fences
PPP and PML-Q leaders held successful talks Monday and agreed on electoral alliance.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – The talks between PPP and PML-Q over the seat adjustment had suspended and the issue was forwarded to higher leaderships of the parties.
The reservations were removed during a two hours’ meeting between the leadership of both the parties as a result of which the deadlock ended.
Later, PML-Q announced their candidates for 87 constituencies of National Assembly and 140 constituencies of the provincial assemblies.
However, the constituencies would be left open where both parties could not reach a consensus. The leaders of PML-Q confirmed that the deadlock between both parties had ended.
The PML-Q has issued 87 tickets to 87 contestants for national and 140 for provincial constituencies.
